I cannot praise Dr. Hugh Jones enough for the comprehensive care I received at my last appointment .- I had various health issues to discuss with Dr. Jones and I was very anxious and upset. On arrival he calmed me down and spent time to listen to me. I came away re-assured and my confidence restored due to his treatment. Dr. Jones is an exceptional physician and I feel very privileged to be one of his patients.

I have been a patient of Dr Jones for many years and have always found that he listens and gives practical advise tailored to the individual needs of the patient. Many times I have been seen at short notice which when you have a long term chronic condition is very helpful. It is refreshing to have a consultant that understands the conditions that he is treating and being able to build an open and honest relationship is very important to the self management of my condition.

July 1949 my Headmaster wrote in my Autograph Book the following I can't ------does nothing I'll try ------ does something I will ------- Works wonders Sad to say when I first saw Dr. Hugh Jones my body did not understand or comprehend the I will --- I tried to bend - walk correctly - use my hands and nothing worked.. So no matter how often I said 'I will' my body said 'Nooooo you won't! Dr. Hugh Jones said he would "Get me there" which was great as one of us at least knew I would get there and recover. Now working hard and 'Abusing' hands that refused to work - finding in a Sainsbury store I could not lift my shopping the young cashier lifted it into my trolly and then turned off his till and walked to my car and put the shopping in the boot of my car for me, how kind was that.... the next week I carried my shopping stopping to put bags down and rest, now I can, since December - walk merrily along - yes walk properly, not shuffle, and, carry 3 plastic bags full of things to make my meals like Nigella and Jamie Oliver, no more Ready Meals...... so thinking positive, disobeying my silly body that kept saying 'I can't AND doing as Dr Hugh Jones and great team have told me and thanks to whoever discovered steroids etc., I can now say a very BIG THANK YOU I am nearly there... so THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING THERE FOR ME from Josephine (Ashworth)xx

Dr Jones has been very informative about my condition, happy to discuss any options that may be available and very understanding of my situation and how the condition affects my ability to carry out general tasks. He is always welcoming to his clinic.

it's always a pleasure to see Dr Jones,he is very caring,he listens and he always helps in whatever way he can.I have been seeing him for a number of years and have always been given wonderful treatment.I only wish there were more doctors as nice as he is.He always explains everything so well and just can't do enough to help.Hopefully I will still be able to see him until my condition means I no longer have to go to hospital.
